					<title>This Sunday&apos;s message -  &quot;Can You Love Someone Like Judas?&quot;</title>
					<link>http://revolutionchurchpdx.com/home.cfm?feature=1050915&amp;postid=1523147</link>
					<description>&amp;ldquo;Welcome to one of the greatest Scandals of the Bible!&amp;rdquo;

Matt. 26:14-16
Then one of the twelve, whose name was Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests and said, &amp;ldquo;What will you give me if I deliver him over to you?&amp;rdquo; And they paid him thirty pieces of silver. And from that moment he sought an opportunity to betray him.

Matt. 27:5
And throwing down the pieces of silver into the temple, he departed, and he (Judas) went and hanged himself.

In Luke 22 and Matthew 26, as well as other places, we can read the account of Judas.&amp;nbsp; We all know em&apos; as the disciple we love to hate.&amp;nbsp; He&apos;s the one who betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver.

Have you ever considered why Jesus wanted him around and why Jesus allowed him to be part of the 12?&amp;nbsp; Seems wierd, right?&amp;nbsp; Judas is a SNAKE!&amp;nbsp; He deserves to be kicked in the face and thrown into a rear naked choke with no tap-out!

But, Jesus loved him!&amp;nbsp; Jesus allowed him to be apart and Jesus knew he was greedy and stealing.&amp;nbsp; Why, why did Jesus keep him around?&amp;nbsp; I don&apos;t believe that God created Judas to betray Jesus and then commit suicide.&amp;nbsp; Sorry, I don&apos;t buy that!

I&apos;ll give you my two cents:

1 Cent)&amp;nbsp; I think Jesus had to know that Judas could change!&amp;nbsp; Maybe Jesus was waiting to the last possible minute in hopes that Judas would repent.

2 Cent)&amp;nbsp; Maybe, Jesus knew that he had nothing to fear and that in the end, people who betray eliminate themselves soon enough.&amp;nbsp; Jesus didn&apos;t have to expend the energy to explain why he had to ask Judas to &amp;quot;step down&amp;quot;, he knew Judas would do that to himself in due time.</description>

					<title>Jesus said, &quot;Go...and make...!&quot;  He didn&apos;t say, &quot;Sit ... and take!&quot;</title>

					<description>&amp;quot;Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; - Matthew 28:19

God, please forgive us for being a culture of&amp;nbsp; Christians in America who just want to sit, eat, and watch others do all the work!&amp;nbsp; One of Jesus&apos; last statements was to &amp;quot;Go&amp;quot; and &amp;quot;make disciples&amp;quot;.&amp;nbsp;

Did you know that you can&apos;t teach what you don&apos;t know?&amp;nbsp; But here is the deal, it is our responsibility to know.&amp;nbsp; Study, grow, and reach.&amp;nbsp; Anyone can do this.&amp;nbsp; This is not a duty for the &amp;quot;professionals&amp;quot; in our churches.&amp;nbsp; This is a duty for the entire church!

So let&apos;s go and get off of our &amp;quot;blessed assurance&amp;quot; and make an impact for the Kingdom of God!&amp;nbsp; Don&apos;t say you will ... do it right now, today!&amp;nbsp; Do it like yesterday and just if God doesn&apos;t use you!

&amp;quot;Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; - 2 Timothy 2:15
